Anisa Nagaria
Anisa Nagaria embarked on her energy research career in 2000 in Moscow, having earned two Masters degrees. At a time when large sums of international investment were being funnelled into Russian oil and gas, she garnered important insights into the industry. In 2005, Anisa moved to London, where, in addition to her analysis of the Russian space, she assumed responsibility for coverage of a growing portion of the energy world, Latin America. In 2010, Anisa relocated to New York and expanded her coverage further, to become a global energy analyst.
Having worked at various international financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, HSBC and CLSA, Ms. Nagaria gained extensive experience as a sell-side research analyst covering leading energy firms from around the world. This has provided her with a uniquely broad and deep knowledge of the global energy industry.
Anisa has regularly attended the prestigious annual CERAWeek (Cambridge Energy Research Associates, now IHS Markit) conference in Houston, Texas - one of the most important industry events globally. As a research associate at CERA early in her career in Moscow, Ms. Nagaria started to build a solid international network of important industry connections.
One of Anisa’s strengths as an energy professional is her direct access to both industry executives and major investors worldwide. She has been instrumental in introducing her colleagues to key global investors, including Capital, Fidelity, Wellington, BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, AllianceBernstein, and Lazard, and has provided top-notch corporate access to the investment community.
